We connect to the switch on the default IP address; 10.0.0.1
we change it on the configs page and choose Telnet option for PuTTy to be able to connect to the switch.
We use Putty for the Router as well.

We put the IP address we've put on the switch's configs page, everything else stays the same, we connect to the CLI of the switch.
